It can be frustrating at times, when people do not understand how you are experiencing the world. My process required tremendous amounts of rest in order to recover from the cycles of energy. Physical, mental, and emotional changes occurred very rapidly, the state of emergency or duress I was in seemed to propel me through, into, and out of various stages of awakening and purification. The kundalini came on very strong from the beginning, but I view it as a complete blessing. Any chaos I've experienced has been the result of imbalances, blockages, attachments, etc., from my state of being before the kundalini stepped into the driver's seat.

The greatest gift during the whole process was the faith I had in my vision of the world. Everything seemed less material and more energetic. I knew that to think of the world any longer as a chaotic jumble of objects was pointless. Instead, it became the infinite unfolding pattern of oneness. Reality became a joyous place to be when I allowed my perspective to rise above the fate of things. Though the mind and body were shook up, the pieces seemed to fall into a better arrangement all on their own. Because the mind and body are connected to my environment, the process of purification would flow into my surroundings, as well.

Before the awakening of spirit, I felt like the walking dead. I would read novels and fantasize about immortals ending my earthly life and giving me a new vision of the world. I would pray for my life to end, and neglected my health terribly. When the spirit realized itself, nothing else seemed to be real after that point. All"
